The Legacy at Woodbridge Assisted Living Community

The Legacy residence is a “safe and secure” model with two neighborhoods of 16 comfortable appointed apartments surrounding a country kitchen, large family room and intimate gathering areas. With guidance from the Alzheimer’s Association, we have incorporated many design elements know to reduce agitation and enhance a feeling of wellbeing for people with dementia.

Rooted in Jewish values, Woodbridge Assisted Living and The Legacy Memory Care Program as founded on the principle of honoring our parents. We are committed to the ideal of maintaining dignity and respect for our elders. Further we embrace a philosophy of optimizing each individual’s potential, whatever that potential may be.

The Board of Directors of the Jewish Rehabilitation Center/Woodbridge Assisted Living created The Legacy in response to a demand from the community for a quality program at the assisted living level that would be responsive to the special needs of those suffering memory loss and cognitive impairment.  With staff, consultants and experts in the field, the goal was to create an environment that would be life supporting, and provide meaningful programming, and a well trained staff to ensure a high quality of life at a standard our own families, friends and colleagues could embrace.
